What is Special Effects Makeup (SFX)?Special effects makeup is a blend of prosthetics, advanced makeup techniques, and professional materials that can completely transform how someone looks, whether it’s for the camera or a live audience.
What do we create?Pretty much anything you can imagine, and often more. Creativity has no limits here. Ulianka specialises in effects that feel realistic, bold, and memorable. Whether you want to look older, darker, unsettling, other-worldly, cinematic, or totally unrecognisable, we guide the process from the first idea right through to the final result.
What kind of effects?Bruises, wounds, cuts, blood, scars, burns, ageing effects, illness makeup, horror looks, prosthetic application, and realistic film-style effects. If you can picture it, we know how to bring it to life.

Creative makeup
Creative looks are made using face paints alone: Mexican Sugar Skulls, skulls, zombies, evil clowns, many spooky and fantasy characters.
Ulianka can assist in the initial design work, or you can provide your own concept. Check out our gallery below for inspiration, and contact us to book your appointment.
We use professional makeup and materials to transform you: older, scarier, hairier, or monstrously creative. All supplies are provided.
Halloween slots fill up fast, so book early! (A booking fee is required to secure your space.)
