From Solid Foundations to Advanced Event and Artistic Techniques
During the workshops, we decide together what we will focus on and develop specific skills that you can apply at events, festivals, photoshoots, or within artistic projects. The sessions are adapted to different levels of experience and are based on professional techniques used in commercial and stage work.
We work hands-on with face and body paints, brushes, sponges, and stencils. The focus includes, among others:
• clear, visually strong compositions
• working efficiently in an event-paced environment
• designs that attract attention and create a strong “wow” effect
The workshops take the form of intensive, inspiring sessions — from animal masks and fantasy characters to body painting and painterly illusions. I guide participants step by step, while also supporting the development of individual style and confidence in working with clients.
I have led workshops in Aberdeen as well as in many countries across Europe and worldwide. This is not only about learning, but also about creative energy, the exchange of experience, and a genuine impulse for further growth.
A word from the artist
Hi! I’m Ulianka. I have worked for many years as a face and body painting artist, but by education and vocation I am also a teacher. That is why, in my workshops, understanding the process is just as important as the final result — knowing how and why a design works.
I don’t simply present ready-made designs to copy. I explain the process: how to plan a project, how to make decisions while painting, how to simplify shapes in event settings, and how to build more complex designs step by step.
Regardless of experience level, we work practically, with guidance and individual feedback — without pressure and without judgement.
My experience has been shaped through work at large-scale events and festivals, in museums, film productions, conventions, and through body painting, UV art, and special effects projects. I translate this knowledge into practical tools that you can adapt to your own goals — commercial or artistic.
My aim is that after the workshop you understand what you are doing and why it works, and that you feel confident and empowered to develop your own distinctive, recognizable style.
